Fomo Opposite Word

I like the terminology FOBY (Fear Of Being Yourself) because the opposite of fear of missing out should be being yourself and not what other people are doing.

FOMO is also  potentially a very unhealthy way of living your life unless your joining a running club or doing something healthy.

In the western world everyone finishes work, goes to the pub and drinks themselves stupid and they feel shit the next day.

Fear to be yourself and do all the healthy activities that are going to support your future and not jeopardise it.

I like the attitude of getting up, doing an hours exercise, eating a healthy breakfast, working what ever hours you need to reach your goals for that day, cook a healthy supper, spending time with your family and getting a good night sleep.

On the other end of the spectrum would be getting up late, eating an unhealthy breakfast, doing as little work as possible so you can get to the pub ASAP, getting drunk and eating a kebab before doing it all again and feeling like shit 24/7 and also being poorer.

Just think if you have to join in with everyones drinking every night how much this is costing you!

Lets say you earn £3k per month net of taxes but you have a beer drinking habit of 4-5 pints a night at £5.40 per pint for a 31 day period that's £837 per month just on beer in the pub which leaves you with £2,163 left for the month.

Worstly lets say you have a smoking habit of say 1 pack of cigarettes a day im speculating they cost £11 per packet for 31 days would be £341 that leave you with £1,822 per month

even worstly you buy alcohol at home say 1 bottle of wine a night thats £248 for 31 days leaving you with £1,574 per month!

Is there enough left over to pay for your rent, mortgage, elec, internet, phone, water, food, car, transport, council tax?

if I want to scare you even more those 3 habits of £837, £341, £248 per month are costing you £17,112 per year.

That's a bloody nice holiday or a down payment on your house or a college fund for your kids or a good contribution.

It's all releitave really but this whole going out lark can potentially jeopardise your savings and health which will probably cost you more on your health in the future.
