Survivor: Single Parent Edition – The Movie You Didn’t Know You Were Starring In

Opening Scene: Picture this: You’ve just woken up from what felt like a five-minute nap, your kid has turned the kitchen into a crime scene of cereal and spilled juice, and your to-do list is longer than your ex’s excuses. Enter the title card: “The Ultimate Survivor. The Ultimate Chaos. The Ultimate Badass.” The soundtrack? A mix of Adele’s “Rolling in the Deep” and a few seconds of a toddler screaming for no reason. Scene 2: The Morning Chaos (The Coffee Scene) It’s 7:00 AM, and you’re already feeling like you’ve been up for 72 hours. You’re standing at the kitchen counter, trying to get the coffee machine to work while your kid is on their third meltdown over socks. “I can’t find my red socks!” You’re about two seconds away from Googling how to survive a hostage situation in your own home when, suddenly, the coffee machine finally sputters to life. “Caffeine: the only thing that stands between me and a full-blown meltdown.” The scene cuts to you standing tall, holding you...

How To Stop Procrastinating

I have had this problem for a while and the whole "Work From Home" thing is a major distraction when you're trying to get work done.

At the moment I have a sink full or washing up, a carpet covered in nut shells where a certain animal thought it would be a good idea to taste all of the nuts in the bowl, plus a whole laundry service waiting for me to attend to !

and yes im writing this blog now because I would have normally procrastinated due to the chaos in my house but im ignoring it all and just doing my days work until 6pm and then I will deal with it.

Normally I would be in the office and all these distractions wouldn't be around me so I would just work and forget about the mess. Im now sat amongst the mess it would be easy to not work and clean up or get depressed looking at it but I am laser focused on  my work hour time to just work and allocating the mess to the hours I would have normally associated them with.

its easy to procrastinate due to the endless tasks we have but if you allocate certain times for certain tasks life gets a lot easier and everything has its allocated time slot and you get so much more productive.

ill let you get on as I only allocated 15 minuets to this blog post as I have a massive reconciliation task to finish by the end of play today.

Go on get productive, you got this....
